About the Role

As the Engineering Team Lead for Photovoltaic Projects at the Hirschberg location, you will spearhead the development and execution of cutting-edge solar energy projects. Leveraging your extensive experience in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) photovoltaic projects, you will lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Lead the engineering team in the planning, design, and implementation of large-scale photovoltaic projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Technical Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems and EPC project management principles to drive technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and PVcase to optimize system design and performance.
  3. Team Management: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Delegate tasks effectively, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to coordinate project activities, address technical challenges, and ensure project success.
  5. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of photovoltaic systems. Conduct thorough reviews of design documents, specifications, and engineering calculations to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project execution and develop proactive mitigation strategies. Monitor project performance metrics, identify deviations from project plans, and take corrective actions as necessary to minimize risks and optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on renewable energy or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in large-scale EPC photovoltaic projects, with a strong technical background and proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and PVcase.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in team management and leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with the Dutch market and relevant regulatory frameworks would be advantageous.
