Senior Product Manager

Duration: 18-month contract

Remote Work: 80% remote, with presence in Berlin as needed

Location: Berlin, Germany

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Development: Lead the strategic development of the business model, product vision, roadmap, and release plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with customers to elicit requirements, participate in workshops, and design service descriptions for contracts.
3. Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure transparency in backlog grooming.
4. User Story Formulation: Formulate user stories with acceptance criteria and facilitate knowledge transfer to the team.
5. Progress Tracking: Track product progress, provide transparency, and facilitate decision-making processes.
6. Release Planning: Define release schedules, starting with Minimum Viable Product (MVP) iterations, and set target costs for development projects.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, customers, and users to ensure alignment and gather feedback.

Profile:

• Education: Completed studies in natural sciences or comparable field.
• Certification: Certified Product Owner or Project Manager.
• Experience: Several years of experience in Scrum and relevant tools, ideally in government or customer scheduling platforms.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technology and experience integrating open-source/third-party software.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a high level of proficiency in German.
