Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Technology for the Virtual Power Plant division, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical landscape that manages, controls, and optimizes a decentralized fleet of renewable energy assets within the VPP. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a world-class team of experts, integrate cutting-edge technology platforms, and play a pivotal role in advancing the energy industry's transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Development: Lead the creation of a robust and scalable tech infrastructure to efficiently manage, control, and optimize a large-scale fleet of renewable energy assets within the VPP.
• Team Building: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of flex optimization, data science, and engineering experts, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Integration Strategy: Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly integrate the VPP technology platform into IoT ecosystem and external trading partners, ensuring interoperability and smooth operations.
• Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to drive the growth and innovation of the VPP technology initiatives, aligning with company goals and industry trends.
• Industry Expertise: Leverage your significant experience in the energy industry, particularly in flex optimization, trading, and Virtual Power Plants, to steer the strategic direction

• Experience: A substantial track record within the energy industry, with deep expertise in flex optimization, trading, and Virtual Power Plants.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Max % of Available Flex Volume: Ensure maximum utilization of available flex capacity within the VPP.
• Max Ratio of Available vs. Traded Asset Volume: Optimize the ratio of available renewable energy asset volume to traded volume, ensuring optimal profitability.
• Dispatch Efficiency: Enhance the efficiency of dispatch operations, reducing response times and increasing overall operational effectiveness.
