Senior Software Engineer

We're thrilled to be on the hunt for a Lead Software Engineer to join my clients passionate and dynamic team. If you're a seasoned software engineer with expertise in C#, React, Azure, Microservices, and have a background in the renewable energy sector, I've got an exciting opportunity for you! 

Position Overview:

As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll have a pivotal role in our development team, leading the design, development, and implementation of intricate software solutions. You will work on exciting projects, leveraging your skills in C#, React, Azure, and Microservices to create efficient and robust systems tailored to the renewable energy industry. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and architecture of software solutions with a specific focus on renewable energy applications using C#, React, Azure, and Microservices. 
• Mentor and collaborate with a team of talented engineers to drive the success of our projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements within the renewable energy sector.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code while ensuring that code reviews and best practices are consistently applied.
• Guarantee the scalability, security, and performance of software solutions in the context of renewable energy applications. 
• Tackle complex technical issues as they arise, applying your problem-solving skills.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and developments in the renewable energy field. 

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on C#, React, Azure, and Microservices. 
• Previous work experience in the renewable energy industry, including knowledge of relevant technologies and practices.
• Proficiency in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, spending 2 days in the office and the remainder working from home.
